When to Migrate with Legend
Legend enables complex data migration into Windchill 8.0 (PDMLink 8.0 and Pro/INTRALINK 8.0). The following points are good indicators that Legend will be needed:
• You are implementing or have implemented Windchill 8.0
• You have one or more legacy data types to migrate to Windchill 8.0
• Your legacy data is managed in a database

Step 1: Review Legend Product Features and Capabilities Legend Enterprise Feature List (pdf) Technical Datasheet (pdf) Step 2: Capture Customer Requirements The Legend Customer Profile (LCP) will provide the foundation for quoting software and implementation services. Download the Legend Customer Profile. (doc) Email the completed LCP to: legendsales@i-cubed.com Step 3: Customer Requirements Review Once the LCP from step 2 is sent to I-Cubed an I-Cubed technical sales representative will contact you to setup a migration scoping call. You will be contacted within 2 business days. |
Legend PTC/VAR Engagement Models

PTC Engagement Model 1: I-Cubed Direct to Customer (Preferred) In this engagement model PTC introduces I-Cubed to the customer to help solve the customer's data loading needs. I-Cubed partners directly with the customer to help the customer understand if and how Legend can help in the move to Windchill 8.0. Upon deciding to move forward, the customer deals directly with I-Cubed related to Legend software and services. PTC Engagement Model 2: I-Cubed SubK's through PTC In this engagement model I-Cubed delivers software and services through PTC to the customer. I-Cubed partners with PTC to help PTC understand if and how Legend can help the customer. Software and migration services are directed through PTC's Statement of Work to the customer.
