Donald A. Thompson, Jr., President and CEO

 

As President and CEO, Donald sets the strategic direction for I-Cubed as it develops and delivers a growing portfolio of enterprise software and service solutions to its global customer base.  He provides leadership and mentoring while keeping I-Cubed focused on revenue generation.  Donald has led the company to outstanding results with an increase in strategic partnerships and revenue growth of over 30% since 2007.  Today, he continues the upward trend with even greater growth and profitability, while overseeing company activities as a member of I-Cubed’s Board of Directors.

In his 16 years with I-Cubed, Donald has held leadership positions in Sales and Partner Relations, as well as the role of Vice President of Business Development. While in this role, Donald expanded the I-Cubed partnership with Adobe Systems and provided support to former I-Cubed CEO and founder, Grant Williard. Donald was later involved in the asset transaction of I-Cubed’s Digital Rights Management technology with Adobe. He also oversaw I-Cubed’s ownership transition in 2005, transforming I-Cubed into an employee-owned company without the need for outside capital.

In addition to his role at I-Cubed, Donald chairs North Carolina State University’s Computer Science Strategic Advisory Board. He also serves on the Boards of Advisors for Everest Agency and North Carolina State University’s Friends of the Library, mentors emerging entrepreneurs and frequently speaks at leadership seminars. Donald also actively supports Camp Friends 4ever and Weight Loss 4 Youth.  Both programs are designed to provide a foundation of support, education and self-esteem for youth combatting obesity.

Donald is a recognized business professional and brings a wealth of leadership experience to I-Cubed. In 2008, he was named one of the Top 25 Technical Professionals in Research Triangle Park, NC by Business Leader. Donald studied Finance at East Carolina University.

 

Mark_Winnie

Mark Winnie, Vice President, Migration Services

 

As Vice President of Migration Services, Mark Winnie brings more than a decade of technical leadership experience at I-Cubed to provide customers with innovative and scalable solutions. Along with expertise in CAD and PLM, Mark provides technical acumen and pragmatic implementation skills.

 

Mark holds a patent for a method to capture and populate into PLM systems unattributed information from CAD schematics. He also defined and implemented a digital rights management (DRM) solution for CATIA, compelling leading manufacturers to seek his counsel on a broad range of issues affecting intellectual property protection as it relates to product design and supply chain collaboration.

 

Before joining I-Cubed, Mark gained extensive experience in product design and manufacturing environments. This includes knowledge of processes and information requirements for manufacturing, production, and inventory control ― backed by strong skills in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) applications, programming, database administration, and mainframe systems management.

 

Mark studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh.

 

Tony_Pease

 

Tony Pease, Vice President, Business Development

 

As Vice President of Business Development, Tony has been instrumental in executing both short-term and long-term strategic plans for I-Cubed. His unique depth of expertise in mechanical design, software architecture, and B2B sales enables Tony to quickly assess the potential of new products, services and partners. He then applies his extensive project management experience to ensure that I-Cubed and its partners focus to deliver true value-added solutions to customers in a timely and cost-effective manner.

 

Along with his role at I-Cubed, Tony serves on the board for NCSU’s Engineering Entrepreneurs Program and the NC State Fast 15. For both organizations, Tony provides guidance on tactical leadership, product launch planning and business development. He is also on the board for the newly formed Professional Science Master’s Program concentration at NCSU, which helps students develop workplace skills while pursuing studies in computer networking.

 

Prior to his position at I-Cubed, Tony led software development efforts for multi-national product companies in the commercial manufacturing, automotive, and aerospace & defense industries. His teams consistently delivered innovative software solutions to some of the most complex engineering challenges.

 

Tony served in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear submariner and graduated magna cum laude from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Lewis_Kennebrew

 

H. Lewis Kennebrew, II Vice President, Professional Services

 

As Vice President of Professional Services at I-Cubed, Lewis Kennebrew provides leadership to a growing team of talented technology consultants. Lewis has expertise in a wide range of product development business processes, ranging from the front end and beginning stages of product lifecycle management to the configuration, change management and end results. Lewis taps his years of experience in engineering, business process consulting, and service development and delivery to ensure that I-Cubed delivers high-quality results to all of its clients in a timely manner.

 

Prior to joining I-Cubed, Lewis held progressively senior roles in the services delivery organization of PTC and served as Vice President of Operations for ProductSpace Solutions for five years. Lewis, well-versed in international travel, is a speaker on the subject of technology-empowered product development. He has presented at numerous conferences, including those for PTC/User, Lean Product, and Process Development.

 

Lewis earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Science Engineering from Tuskegee University as well as an M.B.A., with emphasis in New Product Development and Operations Management, from the University of Michigan.

Doug_Driver

 

Doug Driver, Vice President, Operations and CFO

 

As Vice President of Operations and CFO, Doug Driver is responsible for the operational and fiscal soundness of the organization.  Driver is responsible for monitoring and directing strategic business plans, overseeing human resources, implementing operational best practices and developing future finance plans.

 

Prior to joining I-Cubed, Driver worked with Wells Fargo Bank and its predecessor, Wachovia Bank, for over 14 years.  He held a variety of positions within the bank, working with small- and middle-market companies, first as a commercial loan underwriter and then as a relationship manager in the business banking segment.

 

Driver earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from UNC Chapel Hill with a concentration in Finance.  He volunteers on the Board of Directors at Marbles Kids Museum and the Board of Directors with the Alliance of AIDS Services-Carolina.
