I-Cubed is giving me a great way to merge my education in Industrial Engineering and manufacturing with the cutting edge technology of solid modeling and CAD applications. I have been able to put my manufacturing knowledge to work in a broad range of areas dealing with product lifecycle management issues, parts design, and concurrent design principles. I-Cubed has shown me that there are an increasingly complex number of areas where modern technology is meeting old-time engineering principles, and I have been able to work on solving some of these problems.

Upon Graduation:
Tim is working for the International Missions Board of the Southern Baptist Convention in Charleston, SC, with The Citadel and Charleston College.

Michael P. Koonts

National Society of Professional Engineers
Society of Automotive Engineers

I chose to work at I-Cubed to gain experience with the various CAD systems currently used in industry. I-Cubed has given me this experience along with professional work experience for my future employment.

I chose to work at I-Cubed to gain more experience in a real-world environment. My internship has given me the opportunity to apply and expand upon the programming skills that I have learned through my course work in computer engineering.

Michael W. Newell
Education:
BS Mechanical Engineering, NCSU 2003

I decided to work for I-Cubed because it seemed to be a great place to start an engineering career while in school. At I-Cubed I have a great opportunity to get a lot of experience using the skills I have learned in school using various CAD systems. All the people are great and helpful, and I look forward to working for I-Cubed over the summer.

Wilson L. White

B.S. Computer Engineering, NCSU 2003

Honors & Awards:
NCSU Park Scholar
Ron Brown Leadership Award
Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society
NCSU Dean's List

I have interned during the summer at other companies before, but I-Cubed gave me the opportunity to gain real-life work experience during the academic year. The small atmosphere makes the job challenging and increases the value of the experience.

Upon Graduation:
Wilson will pursue Law School upon graduation.
